About Ines Chattas


Ines Chattas studied hospitality management in her native Buenos Aires, Argentina. She then interned with several institutions in France and throughout the U.S. She moved to Miami in 1997 where she started building her career and passion for the food and beverage industry at the renowned Grand Bay Hotel Coconut Grove. In 2001 she embraced a new project with Icebox Cafe, a now Miami Beach staple, as the General Manager for over 10 years. In 2011 Ines and former business partner Sandra Stefani opened the doors of Open Kitchen. Ines is known in the industry for her caring personable ways, attention to details and professionalism, always going “one extra mile” to ensure the ultimate customer experience and satisfaction service. Her attentive nature and engaging charm is also reflected in her food. Ines produces enticing food with flavors that are both straightforward and comforting.

We are a neighborhood joint which evolved into much more. From the food, to the service, we aim to create an experience reminiscent of an unforgettable home cooked meal with friends and family. We value simplicity and freshness and are continually inspired by in-season ingredients.

THURSDAY DINNER: On Thursdays, Open Kitchen transforms for dinner service. The elevated food and experience provides guests with a feel unique to Thursday dinners.

OUR MARKETPLACE: Enjoy shopping at our pantry. Our marketplace features hand picked products, many of which are used in our kitchen. The selection includes grains, dried fruits, nuts, candy, artisanal marmalades and cookies, specialty oils, balsamic vinegars and reductions, rare whole-grain pastas and more.

WINES: We specialize on small production Italian and Argentinian Wines, which are not available at the big retailers.

BEERS: We take pride in carrying rare varieties from local breweries
